We invite you to the official Opening Dinner of the Mid West’s first Aboriginal Business Forum.
Network with like-minded business professionals in a welcoming environment while enjoying locally prepared Indigenous cuisine.
The evening will begin with a Welcome ceremony and traditional music and dance.
Their Head Chef, Storm Walker, will follow with a decadent set menu comprised of three courses using traditional ingredients.

This forum is an opportunity to embrace Aboriginal culture in business and industries, help to cultivate skills and collaborative long-term relationships, and together, celebrate Aboriginal Business wins.
The Mid West Aboriginal Business Forum is proudly brought to you by the Mid West Development Commission, Yamatji Southern Regional Corporation, WA State Government, the Department Of Jobs Tourism Science and Innovation (JTSI) and Aboriginal Businesses with the common goal of bringing valuable opportunities to the region.
This one day program will include a full day of professional and informative Forum, finishing with a Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted Business After Hours event.

Business After Hours | 9 June 2022 | 17:00-19:30 |The Piazza
This is a networking event unlike the others, in conjunction with the Aboriginal Business Forum, this networking event will finish the day, connecting businesses from the Mid West, Aboriginal businesses, stakeholders from Perth and interested parties to continue any conversations from the day, create new connections and/or strengthen current relationships. This networking event will be from 17:00-19:30, half an hour earlier than our usual 17:30 start. This is due to holding an Art Auction on the evening – in conjunction with the Aboriginal Business Forum – Aboriginal artists from the Mid West who have entered will be auctioning their art pieces with an Ócean to Outback’ theme.
It will be held outside on The Piazza, nibbles and refreshments will be provided with Craig Pickett singing in the background, this is one event to put into your calendar!
